THREE 2025 VILLAGE COMMUNITY EVENTS

1.  "A NIGHT AT THE CANTON PALACE THEATER"

Wednesday, April 9th

6:30 Doors open

7:00 Short Silent Film w/Organ Accompaniment

7:30-8:30 Q & A & Tour of the Theater

Includes a box of popcorn, small fountain drink or bottled water. A Cash Concessions and Cash Bar will be available as well.

2. "CONVERSATION WITH THE SHERIFF"

Wednesday, May 28th at the Village Hall

6:00 - 7:30pm

Meet new Sheriff Eric Weisburn

3. "ANNUAL CONCERT ON THE LAKE with LaFLAVOUR"

Saturday, August 30th

6:00 - 9:00

Enjoy by land (behind the Meyers Lake Village Hall) or by sea (by Sportsman's Club finger docks).

It is suggested that residents bring their own beverages, snacks, lawn chairs.  Be aware there will be NO FOOD TRUCK THIS YEAR.

PLANNING FOR THE 100TH YEAR ANNIVERSARY OF MEYERS LAKE VILLAGE

Village Council will begin planning this event starting in 2025 for the 2027 100th Year Anniversary Celebration. Karen Fier, Rick Chievitz and Pepper Locke will co-chair these events.  If you would like to assist this team, please contact Karen Fier at 330-495-0492.  Once the first committee meeting date is set, more information will be available.  One event that we would like to put on is an open house at the Village Hall for residents to display their memorabilia of the early years of the Village and the Amusement Park.  As the planning begins,  Council would appreciate any help/ideas from village residents.  Watch for more information in 2025.
